Podcast Appearance: Resilient Performance Podcast

My lovely wife has dubbed Dr. Doug Kechijian “The Witch Doctor.” He’s a Doctor of Physical Therapy in New York City. I come to him often with my workout pains. He sends me home with some wacky, contortionist-like exercise. But it always fixes me. Hence, he’s The Witch Doctor.

Doug is one of the top thinkers in human performance, and he has a crazy informative podcast on the topic. He recently had me on to talk about my work and thoughts on the state of health and fitness. I loved chatting with him (and hope I didn’t scare away potential advertisers). Listen below, or on iTunes.

We talked about:

  • How I started writing about health.
  • Interesting people and places I’ve covered in the health and fitness space.
  • Best and worst fitness trends and practices I’ve observed.
  • What makes a good training methodology.
  • The future of health and fitness.
  • The physical and psychological challenges associated with my recent trip to the Alaskan backcountry.
  • My upcoming book.
